WE'RE SHUTTING DOWN (for a short while)

Hear yé, hear yé!!
We've decided to close down this Indy production blog and the other general updates one aswell.

Our main website (www.homework-entertainment.com) will get an overhaulin' and a fresh new look and our updates will go up on Facebook. Much easier, much more user friendly and anyone can subscribe as a 'fan' and immediatly comment on any updates, vids or pics we might post.

So we definately see this change as a good thing.

Phantom Island - General Update - 02

Well, not really - big - news, but pretty important for us and this production.

You see, originally there were 3 storylines about 3 different subjects/artifacts we could do a movie about. So basically we were planning on doing a trilogy of Indiana fanfilms. Starting off with a good - basic - story for the first film, then going all out for the second and hopefully even bigger for the third one... But then again...

It's most likely to get just 1 film in the can and hope it does well. As a fanfilmmaker, you can't really depend on the idea of making a 'series' of shorts, because usually it ends with just that 1 film - for 'fan' films (unless you're Fran Casanova - great guy, awesome filmmaker- ).

So now we've decided to make the second story, our first film. Trying to go all out, right off the bat. We'll see how that goes...

What the film will be about, we cannot tell you... not just yet, or there's bound to be someone who steals the idea and make it into something stupid and blow all of our hard work to bits. So you'll just have to wait and see, what the film will be about, when it's done :p Unless you can figure it out by reading between the lines in future posts, pics and BTS footage ;)

Starting to kick things into higher gear over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

Phantom Island - Costume Design - 04

Here's a very first look at our young Indiana Jones character, as he will be seen in the film. The 'adventure' outfit for this character has been assembled, next on the list is one of our other main characters, who shall go 'unnamed' for now... Proper introduction of this one will follow as soon as we've completed his costume :p

In total, there will be 3 main characters in this film, none of which is a female... so we might be adding a 4th character along the way... Must have a love interest for Indy, right ;)

Anyway, we've got a costume test video on the way... Stay tuned!

Phantom Island - Costume Design - 03

Just a quick one...

Last week I've received my Jones Fedora, made by Stefan and Marc of the AdventureBilt Hat Company, Germany... You know, the same guys who made the hats for 'Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'. (there's a link to their site at the site seeing section, on the right...)

Needless to say, the hat looks amazing and, blocked like the ones in 'Raiders', it perfectly fits our setting. All we need now, is a pair of pants and we're off to shoot our first Indy test sequence :)
